A crying baby can often be a test of one's patience. Especially for a new parent. That's normal and a guilt-free emotion. Sometimes we step away for a break, which is a healthy coping measure. We cannot always read what our baby could feel. Their cries could communicate hunger, a wet diaper, or pain. Maybe they are just tired lying there.
