What is water to a fish?

We often fail to see the realities that surround us precisely because they are so familiar. The assumptions, values, stories and ideologies that shape our understanding of the world can become as invisible to us as water is to a fish.

"How's the water?" is an invitation to step outside the obvious and question the environment of ideas in which we live.
