Hollyhocks alongside St Leonards Church wall Hythe Poster

Every year I take a walk up the very steep hill alongside St Leonards Church. The hill is so steep it has a hand rail up the centre to help with walking up and down. Beyond this hill is another even steeper hill where the handrail is used quite often on the descent. This time of year, late June, there are Hollyhocks of every colour along the wall, hand rail, and in front of the quaint stone built cottages. They form a spectacular display with the blue sky behind and glimpse of the sea. Well worth the effort.
