St. Princess Anna of Novgorod Orthodox Prayer Card

St. Princess Anna of Novgorod was born to a Christian Swedish king in the late 10th century. She received a great education and had a lot of freedom. She had a political marriage to the Great Prince Yaroslav the Wise, but she was a loving and devoted wife. She gave her children a strong Christian upbringing, marked by an unwavering faith in God, hard work, integrity and learning. In an older age, she went into a monastery, where she ended her days in strict obedience and prayer.
